Elizabeth Blasberg, M.D.

Dr. Elizabeth Blasberg graduated magna cum laude from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. She received her doctorate of medicine from The Larner College of Medicine at The University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont, graduating with multiple awards including The Pilcher Award for Excellence in Surgery. She was also inducted into the esteemed Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and The Arnold P. Gold Humanism in Medicine Honor Society. She completed her Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Residency at The University of New Mexico where she served as the Resident Representative to The American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and as elected delegate to The Committee of Interns and Residents Union. She was also a resident member of The Triological Society and The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Blasberg completed one of the most competitive fellowships in the country in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with the world-renowned surgeon Dr. Jeffrey Spiegel at Boston University and The Spiegel Center in Boston, MA. Having trained with Dr. Spiegel, she is one of the nation’s few experts in facial feminization surgery using craniofacial and soft tissue techniques to create a more youthful and feminine appearance. She was on staff at Boston Medical Center as an Associate Professor in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery where she was involved in resident education and performed cosmetic, reconstructive, and facial trauma procedures.

Dr. Blasberg is currently an active member of The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) and The American Academy of Otolarynoglogy-Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS). She is board certified in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. She is fellowship trained and board eligible in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Blasberg specializes in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and has particular interest in rhinoplasty, for changing the appearance of the nose as well as correcting nasal breathing issues, and in facial feminization surgery to enhance the femininity of the female face using craniofacial techniques to accomplish forehead contouring, cheek and jaw contouring, as well as hairline optimization. Her practice focuses on minimally invasive and endoscopic procedures where possible and includes the range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures including mole removal, skin cancer removal and reconstruction, otoplasty, blepharoplasty, facelift and neck lift, lip lift, buccal fat pad removal, lip lift, endoscopic and open brow lift, chin, cheek, lip and mandibular implants, surgery for facial paralysis, and fat grafting, among many others.

Dr. Blasberg’s practice also encompasses the range of ENT/Otolaryngology, including sinus and allergy, hearing loss, dizziness, ear problems, voice, swallowing and throat problems, pediatric ENT including tongue and lip tie, head and neck cancers including skin cancers, and thyroid and parathyroid conditions.
