An audiologist has received an Au.D. (Doctorate in Audiology), or a Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited university graduate program in audiology. They have extensive training and skills to evaluate the hearing of adults, infants and children of all ages. They conduct a wide variety of tests to determine the exact nature of an individual’s hearing and/or balance problem.
